Do all hearing aids need batteries? Do you sell them?
Yes to both questions. All hearing aids require batteries to run. They range in size but just because one may be a smaller size, does not mean it will be less expensive. What determines the price of hearing aid batteries is where you buy them. Hearing aid batteries will cost between $ .45 to $1.25 each. It is worthwhile to shop around. I sell batteries for $ .75 each which come in a package of 4 ($3.00). There are 4 main sizes as follows:
#10 (yellow package) — These are the smallest of the 4 sizes and drain the fastest
#312 (brown) — next size (usually last longer than the #10)
#13 (orange) — larger than previous 2 and usually last longer than size 10 or 312
#675 (blue) — The largest size batteries designed for many high power, behind-the-ear instruments
What can I expect to pay for hearing aids?
All hearing aids are offered completely free for a 30-day trial period (no money changes hands) in order to test in "Your World". This also allows time to reset the instruments to meet your unique listening needs. There is no charge to those individuals who choose to return the instruments if they find benefit does not outweigh cost.
